Paper Craft Crew Challenge - PCC390

Hello and welcome to my blog.

The Paper Craft Crew have another challenge up and this week it is a sketch challenge #PCC390. I really like the sketch challenges.

This is my take on the sketch. I thought there was maybe too much white on this card at first, but when I tried adding some colour, I didn't like it.

I got out my colour coach starting with bermuda bay and it suggested rich razzleberry and crushed curry - so that is what I used. The die cut piece is from the Hippo & Friends dies. I used my triple banner punch to cut out the banner end for the sentiment. I also used my wink of stella glitter brush on the flowers - it is a little hard to see in the photos.

I don't have bermuda bay rhinestones so I made my own but taking my dark bermuda bay blends pen and colouring three of the basic rhinestones. Because the blends are alcohol based, it dries quickly so I was able to adhere the rhinestones to my project less than a minute after i coloured them.

My dimension for this card is two layers as you can see. I added the linen thread to the back of the die cut piece before I placed the dimensionals on the back.

I hope you like my project today. I had fun making it.
