Creativity Abounds Blog Hop March 2021

Hello and welcome to my blog.

It's that time again where the Creativity Abounds Design Team, a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world come together to share our creative ideas with you. We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can Inspire you to make creations of your own.

This is a monthly tutorial and this month, we are highlighting the HYDRANGEA HILL SUITE. You can see the products on pages 18-20 of the January-June Mini Catalogue.

You may be starting here or have come from someone else's blog - either way there is a list at the end of this post to help you move around all the different blogs and get many amazing ideas. We all have our country listed - so if you are looking for a demonstrator in your country, these demonstrators would love to look after you with your Stampin' Up!® shopping or if you would like to join our Stampin' Up!® teams.

I don't usually make fun fold cards, I don't know why. I guess they are a little more work than a standard card but, they are fun and different. I confess, when I first saw this suite, it wasn't on my list of things to buy ... but, I am now so glad I did buy it. The colours used in the suite go so well together and some I would not have thought to combine.

Hydrangea Hill Suite #155985

I cannot remember if this fun fold has a name - I am sure it does but I don't know it. If you know, please tell me. Who would have thought that blue and purple would look so good together! Plus that gorgeous grape sheer ribbon! It is a beautiful ribbon to use. So easy to tie into a bow. The pastel pearls come in a pack and in 4 colours to match the colours of the DSP.

This is the inside of the card. I stamped the hydrangea in 2nd generation stamping as I only wanted a very faint image. You could stamp a sentiment instead but I can still write my message over the flower.

Here is how the card will stand. With the layers, the card is very sturdy.

EDITED: this fun fold is call Joy Fold - thanks Lorraine for letting me know.
