Creativity Abounds July Blog Hop 2021

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to my blog.

It's that time again where the Creativity Abounds Design Team, a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world come together to share our creative ideas with you. We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can Inspire you to make creations of your own.

You may be starting here or have come from someone else's blog - either way there is a list at the end of this post to help you move around all the different blogs and get many amazing ideas. We all have our country listed - so if you are looking for a demonstrator in your country, these demonstrators would love to look after you with your Stampin' Up!® shopping or if you would like to join our Stampin' Up!® teams.

Meet the Design Team from all over the world:

This is a monthly tutorial and this month, we are highlighting the Simply Elegant Suite. You can see the products on pages 68-69 of the Annual Catalogue.

I wanted to show you that if you didn't have the DSP from the Suite, you can still use the bundle and trim in a different way. I have gone way out there using Polished Pink ink with Silver Foil that I have embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder (did you notice that?). Soooo pretty.

I may have gone overboard with the bling (basic rhinestones) but that's okay. You don't have to add so many. LOL. I'm sure you cannot have to much though. I grabbed my blending brushes with Polish Pink ink and starting on some copy paper first, I coloured around the edge of the Elegant Tag piece. Once I was happy with the depth of colour, I then stamped the sentiment with Momento ink.

I added the silver trim to the Polish Pink Open Weave ribbon, but can you see that there are two silver bows? I did a double bow. Now, you can cut two pieces of trim and tie with the open weave ribbon as usual (I didn't think of this at the time - silly me!) or you can fold over your trim and tie with the open weave ribbon at the same time. You will have a loop from where you folded it over, which will be a tail, so you need to cut that loop, and you now have a tail on both sides. I have adhered the ribbons with a glue dot to the Elegant Tag.

I hope you can see the Wink of Stella I added to this card.
