Let's Craft Together April 2023 Blog Hop

Hello, my crafty friends and welcome to my blog.


We are a quartet of multi-cultural SU! demonstrators in Australia who have developed a strong friendship through our love of stamping and our admiration of each other’s style of crafting. We will be doing a monthly blog hop where you can join along with us.

Today's challenge is a mystery challenge. Can you believe I have never joined in a mystery challenge before! Why not join us with this challenge!


I will admit that I struggled at first with this challenge. That 4cm x 5cm Piece 2 was doing my head in. Where on earth was, I going to put it? Well, you can see where it ended up. I originally had the large rectangle (piece 1) as 4 straight sides but then I started looking at my dies and went with the large scallop from the Scalloped Contours Dies. I had the fox image already stamped and cut out from a previous project where I didn't use it, so I thought, why not use it now. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Something Fancy stamp set.


Using my Sweet Sorbet Blends, I coloured in the jacket and hat. I wanted to keep the image with next to no colour. I added a little white baker's twine bow. You can see that I have raised the fox and the scallop piece using dimensionals.


A simple embellishment for the inside of the card.

So, while this mystery challenge stumped me at first, I kept coming back to it until it started to click. I am happy with the result.
