Hello and welcome to my blog.
Thank you for joining us for our Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Monthly Team Blog Hop! We are so happy that you could join us today for this blog hop for ideas and creative inspiration. We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin' Up!® business and reach some goals we have set. We really appreciate your support.
You may be starting here or have come from another blog - either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today.
Here is the project that I have made for our hop today. My card was inspired by a fellow demonstrator, Kayla at Stampin with Kayla. Mango Melody and Crushed Curry are making an appearance today. As are some more of the Peaceful Poppies Elements and sequins too. The sentiment is from the So Sentimental Stamp set from the 2020 Mini Catalogue. I used the Stitched So Sweetly die to cut out the sentiment but if you buy the stamp and die as a bundle, you save 10%. I highly recommend this bundle.
The flowers are from the Peaceful Poppies Elements. They are watercolour paper die cuts so all you have to do is pop them out of the sheet and use them on your projects. To colour the flowers, I wet them first, then I started with Mango Melody ink pad and my aqua painter and covered the whole flower. I let it dry a little before adding Crushed Curry ink around the embossed center. It will spread a little depending on how wet the paper is. The black banner piece is also from the Peaceful Poppies Elements.
I also coloured in the vellum leaves but I used my Blends. I am slowly building up my collection of blends and the only green colour I have is Mossy Meadow. I used the light to cover the leaf and the dark behind the white lines up the middle. There is a right and wrong side the to vellum pieces and if you want a more muted tone, colour on the back or wrong side. I scattered a few sequins around.
Thank you so much for coming by today! We have an amazing line up of Stampin' Up!® demonstrators from around the world, and we know you are going to love all the amazing projects that you are going to see today. Don't miss one blog link.
