How I Store My SU! Cardstock

.....Rainbow style!

I used to keep my cardstock in colour families (Brights, Regals, Subtles & Neutrals) but I recently changed to rainbow. It is just so pretty to look at. :-)

I have a two drawer filing cabinet which fits nicely under my desk. I use one drawer for cardstock, the other drawer is for our not so little family. 😃

So pretty

My drawer didn't always look this nice! Different coloured manilla folders, which is what I have used in my rainbow inspired system but these colours were all over the place. There was no coordination.
Blah...not very inspiring.

I had to do something about those files, so I popped into Office Works and ended up with these. Oooooh, pretty! I thought it would look good to have the manilla folders in colour families (red, blue, pink, purple, yellow, green and orange) which would make it easier to locate a colour (e.g. Granny Apple Green cardstock) at a glance.

I wanted white suspension files but Office Works are no longer making them, so I went with these clear plastic ones which actually look white anyway. They also feel quite sturdy.

I have kept white and vanilla cardstock in the front of the drawer as they will be my most used colours. The rest of the neutral colours are at the back. The only thing left do is label each file. That, is for another day.

I hope this helps you in some way, big or small.

Thanks for visiting my blog. Have a great day.

Happy crafting,

    1. Kari, I apologise for not seeing your comment until now. It was in the moderate sin bin but I didn't get notifications that it was there!
Yes, the clear or I'd call them transparent white folders are great and working well for me.
