Tea Bag Holder & Card Set

Hello and welcome to my blog.

I was watching something on YouTube and the next suggested video was a cute tea bag holder. I thought it looked cute and I'd watch to see how it was made. I wasn't really paying much attention to the details but the next thing I knew, Sam Hammond (Pootles) was talking to me! LOL Ooooh, this should be good, and it was. Sam has two videos of this project and I will link you to the second one HERE. I found it easier to follow in metric (cm).

NOTE:This project does use a retired product from Stampin' Up! (Envelope Punch Board) but you can easily find one when you google it. You could also use our 3" x 3" envelopes instead. These envelopes will be a little bit shorter than the punch board made ones, but not by much.

I have used the Magnolia Lane DSP. As well as the Petal Pink Organdy Striped ribbon. This ribbon is so easy to work with.

I'm really sad that SU! retired the Petite Petal Punch so I've used the two smallest circle punches to hold the lid closed. But fear not, I'm pretty sure you will like what is coming in the Mini Catalogue *wink* (Stay tuned for details).

Inside these little envelopes is where you place the tea bags. I use Twinnings and they fit perfectly.

This is what the gift set looks like. I posted about the card HERE. So now it is your turn to make this cute gift set.
