Teacher & Class Gifts

Hello and welcome to my blog.

Here in Australia, the end of the school year is December, then we have our summer break over the Christmas period and school resumes the end of January. So this year I made these goodies for teachers and classmates. Obviously, the tea is for the teaches gifts and the gift box is from the Mini Curvy Keepsake Box die are for classmates. I bought a couple of bags of marshmallows and will add one to the boxes.

You only need a 6" x 6" piece of DSP to make the tea bag gift holder. Check out Angie's video HERE on how to make them. They are so easy and simple. I coloured in the rhinestones with my Cherry Cobbler blends. You don't have to do this but I really wanted red accessories and it is so easy to do with the blends.

All the elements I used on the box came from the die as you can see below.

There are so many papers in the Wrapped in Plaid DSP pack. I had already used a few sheet on another project but I managed to cut out 30 using this dsp. That was enough for my eldest daughter's class.

As this was a last minute project, I knew that I would not have enough DSP to cover all 3 kids classes, so I went with wrapping paper. It worked and the two boys love it.

The kids took them to school last Friday and they were a hit! YAY!
