Flowering Foils

Hello and welcome to my blog.

Go grab yourself a cuppa, because this will be a long one. I was going to break this post up into individual posts, but seeing as Sale-a-bration will end in about a week's time, I thought I would get these out to you to show you other colours I have used. You can earn this gorgeous designer series paper for FREE with a qualifying order ($90).

Once I started colouring these flowers, I just couldn't stop! LOL. I fussy cut these two individual flowers out. Using my sponge dauber, I coloured these in with mango melody and mint macaron ink. I coloured the white crinkled seam binding ribbon with my mango melody stampin' blends.

Ooooh, look at that foil. So pretty. Oh, I almost forgot about the stone 3D embossing folder on the whisper white layer. I really hope Stampin' Up! carry this over to the annual catalogue. Please, please, please! LOL

To continue with the copper, I have copper embossed the sentiment from the So Sentimental stamp set in the 2020 Mini and cut it out using the coordinating rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. With the dauber, I sponged around the outside of the scalloped rectangle with the mango ink pad. I also have the copper foil layer behind the whisper white which ties it all together nicely.

Next is mint macaron colour but I have used my stampin' blends. It gives it a totally different look, a more intense colour. I have used the parisian swirl 3D embossing folder on the top whisper white layer (there are two).

Just look at all those layers. LOL. I went a bit layer crazy! I don't usually raise the first layer but I really like how this turned out. Are you wondering how the ribbon is threaded through the mint macaron die piece??? Well, let me tell you....I used the detailed trio punch! I had a light bulb moment!! LOL. I have them every now and then.

And to top it off, I heat embossed the sentiment with clear embossing powder.

Thanks for sticking around this long. I hope you had a nice cuppa (mine was coffee) and cake if you were lucky enough.

Thanks for visiting and have a great day.

Happy Crafting,
