Very Versailles

Hello and welcome to my blog.

I have pulled out my Very Versailles stamp set today. It has been a little while since I have used it. I had this card in my head using the different generations of ink and I love how it has turned out.
I first stamped the script in Daffodil Delight ink - 2nd generation - meaning I stamped the inked image on to some scrap paper first, then onto the whisper white cardstock I used on the card. You can get different shades of ink depending on how many times you stamp. I then moved onto the next stamp which I call a frame and stamped that in Mango Melody. I made one image the focal point by keeping the ink at 1st generation then the other ones are at 2nd generation and you can see the difference. Next is the leaf image which I stamped in Pumpkin Pie...at 1st generation. I layered the white cardstock onto coordinating Pumpkin Pie cardstock and raised it up using dimensionals. I wrapped some flax ribbon around the white cardstock and with some leftover strings from the flax ribbon used in another project, added the bow. I stamped the sentiment from the Label Me Bold stamp set and adhered it using mini dimensionals.

I have added Wink Of Stella to the leaves because you always need a bit of shimmer in your life....right?
