Wishing You Much Happiness

Hello and welcome to my blog.

I have gone back to basics with this card. There is heat embossing on it but it has simple layers with simple embellishments and some blending. I bought some cheap brushes (aka - makeup brushes) recently and wanted to try them out.
I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink then poured white embossing powder over it and heat set it.

You can see the shine of the embossing powder after it is set. It goes from matt to shine and it is amazing to watch.

Now, to add the colour (Melon Mambo) over the top of the sentiment, I grabbed the blending brush, wiped it over the ink pad and started on the scrap paper first then worked on the center of the sentiment. I only pressed lightly with the brush as I didn't want a dark saturation of colour. Keep taking the brush back to the ink pad until you get the desired shade you are after.
