Comparing In Colours - Magenta Madness

Hello and welcome to my blog.

Today is Magenta Madness day! When I made these cards, I only had the cardstock in the in-colours so I used Melon Mambo (left card) and Versamark (right card) ink to stamp the images. I did second generation stamping with the Melon Mambo as the ink was too dark, but it does work with Magenta Madness. I eventually got the in-colour inks and used them to stamp one of the sentiments.

I had fun playing with new products...can you spot them? The DSP is from the 6"x6" In-colour pack. There are 4 different designs and I am showing you three of them today. One is behind the 'hello fabulous' sentiment. The card on the left is using my trusty Stitched So Sweetly dies that I have used many times before. The sentiment is from Dressed To Impress stamp set. The card on the right is using the die from Tasteful Labels with the vellum layer and Stitched So Sweetly, and the sentiment is from So Sentimental stamp set

You can see the ink better in this photo along with the 20-22 In-colour enamel dots...so pretty! One tip I will point out is to use glue dots or dry adhesive when using vellum. Do not use wet glue as it can wrinkle the vellum.

A comparison of Magenta Madness and Melon Mambo cardstock.
