International Highlights Winners Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog.

At the beginning of this month, I took part in Kylie's blog hop. You were able to vote for your favourite 5 cards and I am excited to say, my card was in the top 10 - that means, I get to hop again with all the winners. Yay!

Here is my card for the hop today.

I have gone simple but elegant with this card today. Gold and white = elegance to me! I have used the Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty DSP (this pack is stunning). I am back again with this sketch - I have been using it for the in-colour comparison cards which started last week.

Ooooh, look at the foil shine. The designs in the pack are so beautiful. This hexagon shape is just one of them. The sentiment is from Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set which I fussy cut after stamping it on basic black cardstock with versamark ink and heat embossing with white embossing powder.

Here you can see the dimension of all the layers. I turned the sentiment over so it was facing down, placed it where I wanted it and added mini dimensionals but only where it would touch the white circle layer. You can see that the "th" in Thanks is floating as is the "ch" in bunch. I did the same thing with the hexagon gold foil layer as the rectangle on the right is not very wide but I wanted the foil layer to be centered so it has a mini dimensional.

Thanks for visiting and have a great day.

Happy Crafting,
