Ornate Style Card

Hello and welcome to my blog.

I actually made this card for a colour challenge a few weeks ago but I missed the cut off as I was unfamiliar with the challenge blog.

The challenge was a colour challenge - Blackberry Bliss, Cinnamon Cider and Mint Macaron. WOW, what a combination. This is what I came up with using the Ornate Style bundle. The swirly lines around the edge of the card base is a stamp in the bundle. I have never used it like this before. I think it just adds a bit of depth to the card. You can always leave it plain though - it is totally your choice.

To colour the image I used blends and water painter. The leaves are mint macaron blends while the flowers are blackberry bliss and cinnamon cider ink pads using water painters. Blackberry bliss is quite a dark ink and I did't want to lose the detail on the large flowers so by using water painters, I can control how much ink I use.

I added lots of rhinestones - because every flower asked to be sparkly! LOL

I hope you liked today's project. If you have any  questions, let me know.
