Blessed Christmas Wishes

Hello and welcome to my blog.

Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there! Well, it is here in Australia. My children have been busy at school making things so they are all prepared. Normally, there would be a Father's Day breakfast held at the school but as with most things, it was cancelled.

Today is Day 6 of the #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge - Colour Challenge. What a great colour challenge it is.

I used Stitched Stars dies for this project. I coloured the die cut behind the star with my blending brushes in Granny Apple Green and Melon Mambo. I also blended Melon Mambo around the edge of the white cardstock.

The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set. I also used the triple banner punch to make the banner end. You can also cut with snips...which ever way you prefer.

I adhered the swirly die behind the star with adhesive sheets. I adhered the sheet on the back of the whisper white cardstock, placing the die on the front, I ran it through the cut & emboss machine. Remove the die gently, leaving behind the cut out die and take your blending tool and colour. It is much easier to handle such an intricate die like this. Otherwise you can pull it out of shape. The big star I used mini dimensionals and the sentiment, regular dimensionals.

I hope you like today's project. If you have any questions, let me know.
