Celebrate The Season

Hello and welcome to my blog.

Today is Day 16 of the #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge and it is a sketch challenge. I have said it before - sketches are my favourite but I was a little stumped with what stamp to use and went back to Coming Home bundle with the adorable houses.

I started with the DSP panel and added the real red cardstock behind it. I felt it needed that bit of extra colour. Then I moved onto stamping the house and colouring that with my Stampin' Blends in real red and mossy meadow. Then the banner is from Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set.

I really like the dainty diamonds 3D embossing folder. Originally, I had the card base plain with no embossing but I thought it needed some texture.

This is how much dimension I used. With the braided linen thread underneath the DSP panel, it wouldn't sit flat so I had to use dimensionals. I added dimensionals to the left side of the house while the right I used liquid glue to attach it to the DSP. Then, I raised the sentiment.
