Christmas Gleaming

Hello and welcome to my blog.

Day 2 of the 30 Day Christmas Card Making Challenge. Today is a Paper Piecing Technique and here is my take on that. If you are joining in, don't forget to use the hashtag.

I used one of the larger baubles from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set and stamped onto a sheet of DSP from the Peony Garden pack. I cut out the bottom section of the bauble and set them aside. I then stamped onto the whisper white layer using Tuxedo Black ink and coloured in the top section using my real red blends. I then added some liquid glue to the back of the pattern paper bauble and adhered them to each stamped bauble on the white layer...and that is paper piecing!

You can see the pattern in the paper a little better here. I coloured in some basic rhinestones with real red blends and added them to the top of the bauble. I drew the lines and the bow with a black pen. It is also hard to see but I ran my wink of stella glitter brush over the red part of the bauble and over the sentiment too.

I hope you like my project today. If you have any questions, let me know.
