Global Design Project 256

Hello and welcome to my blog.

Wow, two posts from me in one day! Aren't you lucky.

Different post, different challenge. This project is for the Global Design Project #GDP256 - To CASE the designer, Kayla McCreadie.

Kayla is a very talented crafter. I always love her creations and I am happy to be case-ing one of her designs.

As you can see, I have gone with snowflakes today from the Snowflake Wishes bundle (stamp set & coordinating die). Before running the snowflake die through the Cut & Emboss machine, I adhered some adhesive sheets to the back of the cardstock. Then, all I had to do was remove the backing from the adhesive and place each snowflake onto the cardstock. I have used soft sea foam cardstock with basic black cardstock. my wink of stella glitter brush also made an appearance on the die cut snowflakes.

As Kayla did in her card, I raised the basic black layer - I used adhesive foam sheets. I cut them into strips about 1 cm wide and then cut them to size (if I need to). Did you notice the black polka dot ribbon - It is actually white but I coloured it using my basic black blends, that way, it matched my card. To adhere the sentiment piece which is die cut from the Hippo & Friends dies, I used dimensionals.

I hope you like today's project. If you have any questions, let me know.
