Hello and welcome to my blog.
It is day 27 of the #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge and it is Joy To The World challenge.
I didn't think I would be posting a card today but a friend (thanks Nicky) suggested I use the Beautiful World stamp set. Genius! I embossed the white layer using the wrapped in texture embossing folder.
I used the layering circles dies to cut out the J, O, Y and the scallops in real red cardstock. Are you wondering where the "to the" and the J, O & Y comes from? I made it myself using the Make A Difference stamp set. Have you missed this set in the catalogue?
As you can see, I added dimension to the globe image and to the J, O & Y letters too. I cut a piece of the braided linen thread, then made two bows so it looks like the JOY is a banner hanging from either side of the card.
