Noel

Hello and welcome to my blog.

Happy Monday! My kids have only this week and next week left of term 3 so I am trying to get as much done as I can before they are on their two week school holiday.

Today is Day 13 of the #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge and it is a emboss resist technique.

Emboss resist - if you have never heard of it or tried it before, it is really easy. You need cardstock, versamark ink, clear embossing powder, heat tool and of course your stamp. Stamp your image using versamark ink pad onto whisper white cardstock. Cover your image with clear embossing powder and set with your heat tool (all of these are available in my online store). Then, with your blending tool, rub your coloured ink over the cardstock and your image will magically appear. The embossed image will resist the coloured ink and remain the colour of the cardstock.

The Noel stamp is from Wrapped In Christmas stamp set from the Aug-Dec Mini. Also from the mini is the gorgeous Heartwarming Hugs DSP, the ribbon and the sentiment.

Here you can see that I have shaded the outside of the banner a darker than the middle using my blending brush. I really like this effect.

I have done a bit of dimension on this card. I raised the banner layer as well as the sentiment.

Thanks for visiting, stay safe and have a great week.

Happy Crafting,

*If you don't already have a demonstrator, I would love to be yours!*
