Global Design Project Challenge 264

Hello and welcome to my blog.

Today's card features the Press On stamp set. I am really loving this stamp - if you couldn't guess. LOL. I am joining the Global Design Project #GDP264 challenge this week and we are casing the designer - Steffi Helmschrott.

I used flirty flamingo, magenta madness and rich razzleberry ink for the watercolour background on shimmery white cardstock. The coloured cardstock is magenta madness also. The best way to watercolour is to wet the cardstock first. You can use your water painter to do this, but I suggest doing one colour at a time...unless you are after the colours running into each other look. Dry in between the colours as well.

Can you see what I have done with the coffee cups? They each coordinate with the watercolour behind them. So, the first cup on the left is coloured in with flirty flamingo stampin blends®. The second cup is in between the two colours so it has both flirty flamingo and magenta madness...the same with the fourth cup, as it is in between magenta madness and rich razzleberry.

As you can see I have raised each coffee cup. I stamped two of the coffee cups onto DSP and cut them out. The DSP coordinated with the ink colours I used. If you choose ink that doesn't have any matching DSP, then colour with your water painters and ink or your blends.

I hope you like today's card. If you have any questions, let me know.
