Tasteful Touches Pop Up Card

Hello and welcome to my blog.

Each month, the Crazy Crafter's have an online class. I hosted the very first one back in June. This month, fellow demonstrator Carolina Evans hosted and this pop up card is what we made.

I am pleased with how this turned out. I don't usually do pop up cards - I don't know why, they are fun to do. They look more complicated than they actually are. I have been eyeing the Plaid Tidings 6" x 6" DSP for a while. I am so pleased I finally bought it. Of course, you know that I went straight for the pink sheet. LOL I thought using the coordinating Melon Mambo cardstock would be too much pink so I went with Mango Melody instead.

I used my wink of Stella to move the ink around on the flower. It is very subtle as I have only done it lightly. The stamp set I used is Tasteful Touches. The enamel dots are actually magenta madness in colour but they go quite well with melon mambo.

I used the gold trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Pack and a glue dot to adhere it. I love this trim. You can see the square stamp in the background, that is also from the Tasteful Touches stamp set. I used the coordinating dies - Tasteful Labels.

The mango melody piece folded right where my thumb is, needs to be glued down to the dsp on the base. I forgot to do that before taking these photos - oops! Once it is glued down, the whole card lays flat so it is easy to post.
