Forever Blossoms Card

Hello and welcome to my blog.

I realised when I made this card, it has been a while since I have worked with my foil sheets. *gasp* How did that happen? For those of you that have been following me for the past year and a bit, will know how much I LOVE foil.

I stamped the Forever Blossoms stamp in Early Espresso ink and used my Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to move some of the ink around. I then cut it out with the coordinating die - Cherry Blossoms.

Here you can see the brass foil and the details on the leaves. I don't think the photos do the foil justice but let me tel you, in real life, it is beautiful. I also couldn't seem to catch the wink of stella sparkle either but trust me, it is there. Now, with the leaves, there are two separate dies. There is the, I am going to call them paint droplets dripping down (the one behind the leaf) and then there is the leafy one (sitting on top). The droplet one is from the Cherry Blossoms dies while the leafy one is from the Forever Flourishing dies. I wanted to keep to the one bundle but I just couldn't.

I tied the braided lined trim into a bow and adhered it with a glue dot where the stamped image and brass foil meet. Gosh, I almost forgot to tell you about the pattern paper...it is a sheet from In Good Taste pack. Have you seen this pack? The imagery is amazing. Just see the picture below. It is one of the more expensive packs, but you also get so much more.
