Forever Fern Card

Hello and welcome to my blog.

We have had some wet, windy and cooler weather over the past few weeks so today, I am going bright and cheerful with today's project. My card must have worked as we have had sunny weather for a couple of days! I am glad I was able to help. LOL

I think this is so bright and cheerful and it has 'pink' in it too. I used the Forever Fern bundle for the foliage and the sentiment is from Tasteful Touches while the banner is from the Ornate Layers dies.

I went with melon mambo ink as I knew it would stand out and as for the greens, there is mossy meadow, pear pizzazz and old olive. Can you see the stitching around the banner layer? I just love it. It saves me from having to do faux stitching - it was my signature years ago. My friends knew which cards were mine when they saw the faux stitching. LOL

I stamped and die cut each image and just laid them out on the whisper white layer. I moved things around and ended up with the same image in the opposite corner. You can see the mossy meadow foliage piece above in the left bottom corner, well, the other piece is on the right top corner. Place them where you are happy with how it looks - I used glue dots to adhere the pieces.

Card Measurements: Imperial
Base card - Whisper White = 4" x 11" (score @ 5 1/2")
Layer 1 - Whisper White = 3 3/4" x 5 1/4"

Card Measurements: Metric
Base card - Whisper White = 10.5cm x 29cm (score @ 14.5cm)
Layer 1 - Whisper White = 10cm x 13.5cm

I hope you liked today's card. If you have any questions, let me know.
