Garden Wishes Stamp Set Sneak Peak

Hello friends and welcome to my blog.

Ok, confession time....it it now Christmas eve and this post was supposed to go live on Monday (4 days ago!). I have had my head buried in a book and finally finished it today. I didn't realise the post did go live...until now! Oops. Remind me to hit the post button next time!

School has officially finished for another year! Little Miss Preschool is excited to be going to school with 3 of her siblings next year. Her official start date is February 3rd. It is also a little scary to say I have a 16 year old who is in Year 11! I am feeling old. LOL. Do you have children in school?

Oh my! Christmas is this week! How did that happen? Hubby and I shopped online this year for presents for the kids and the packages arrive the next day! Thanks Amazon. Are you an early shopper or a last minute shopper?

Today's card features the brand new Garden Wishes stamp set from upcoming Jan-June Mini Catalogue (starting 5th January 2021). While I am only showing you the sentiment today, the whole stamp set is beautiful. It is part of a bigger suite, but I wasn't so fussed about the other stamp set. I have teamed it with the Playing with Patterns DSP. The ribbon was originally white but I coloured it with Stampin' Blends (Calypso Coral). I wanted some texture on the card so I grabbed the Bricks & Mortar 3D embossing folder and ran the coastal cabana layer through my Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine. If you already own this machine, remember that 3D folders you only need plate 1 with the specialty plate.

You can see that I have lifted the sentiment layer using dimensionals. All the other layers I used liquid glue and adhered on top of each other so no dimension.

I coloured the rhinestones with my Stampin' Blends too. I cannot say enough about the blends. If you don't have them, why not? LOL. Honestly, they are just awesome. They are alcohol based so when you use them on things like ribbon and rhinestones (like I have today), they will dry very quickly and you can use the product straight away. The main reason is you can colour with them and you can get some beautiful shading.

I hope you like today's card. If you have any questions, let me know
