Heartwarming Hugs Christmas Card

Hello and welcome to my blog.

Another card to add to my Christmas collection. I made 5 of these as they were easy and simple and quick to put together.

I had fun putting this card together. I first cut the cardstock (real red) to size, then cut the dsp 3mm smaller and adhered them together. That was my starting point. For the trees, I used old olive stampin blends plus a touch of mossy meadow which I blended with the light old olive.

Aug-Dec 2020 Mini Catalogue - Page 11
I was looking through the Aug-Dec Mini when I came across the image above. See the small pizza box on the right? Yep, that is what I case(d) and made it into a card.

I used mini glue dots rolled up like a sausage to adhere the gold hoop to the dsp. I also used them on the trees but didn't roll it up. I kept them flat as I didn't want extra dimension. Mini dimensionals are keeping the trees in place - one above the hoop and one below. For the sentiment, I used one dimensional in the centre as the hoop helps to keep the dimension on either side.

Here you can see the dimension.

Card Measurements: Imperial

Card Measurements: Metric
