Stampin' Up! Always In My Heart Bundle

Hello crafty friends and welcome to my blog.

I cannot believe we are already in February. We are starting to get into a routine here, now that school has started. No more sleeping in for us and we are out the door by 8:45am.

I really love the pop of colour in this project. I haven't used Cherry Cobbler cardstock in a while but I couldn't help but pick up this bundle again. I hope you are getting some inspiration for your valentines projects. So, for this card, I took my first basic white layer (not the card base) and cut off 1" (2.5cm). Then I cut it at 1.5" (3.7cm) from the right so that now you can see the gap between the two pieces and the dsp shows through. The border around is 1/4" (0.5cm) from the card base. The dsp is cut at 1.5" (3cm).

I adhered everything directly to the card base, except for the banner layer. I raised this up using dimensionals and placed them under the sentiment. I love how this banner folds and the stitching around the edges.
