Now, onto today's project.

I am using one of the outgoing in colours - Pretty Peacock and also Pear Pizzazz inks. Can you see that beautiful gold foil? It is gilded leafing -  a new product in the January - June Mini Catalogue.

I am really happy with how this turned out. The sentiment I stamped in versamark and used white emboss powder on pretty peacock cardstock. I used the banner pick a punch on one end. I grabbed two different ribbons - polka dot and gold trim.

I absolutely LOVE the gilded leafing. It is easy to use, if a little messy if you aren't careful. The leafing comes in a pot but I would transfer it to a larger container. Stamp your image with versamark, sprinkle with heat & stick powder and set with your heat tool (this will take but a second), then you can either place the image face down in the gilded leafing (if your container is large enough) or with tweezers, grab one leaf at a time and place down on the image. With a clean sponge, wipe away the excess leafing over your container. Whatever you do, don't sneeze while the lid to the container is off! LOL The leafing will blow away as it is light as a feather.

I hope you like today's project. If you have any questions, let me know.
