Hello crafty friends and welcome to my blog.
Apart from a little rain yesterday afternoon, we finally had the sun come out on Wednesday which was a welcome relief. These floods have caused so much devastation. The water went above the roof of houses, it was that high. Stay safe everyone.
The pearls are from the pastel pearls pack. They are from the Hydrangea Hill Suite and they coordinate so well with blushing bride cardstock.
I have been playing with this die (Butterfly Wings) a lot. I am not normally a butterfly person but this one is just so pretty. Instead of the dsp I have used (which is now sold out), you can die cut the butterfly with coloured cardstock. I have also die cut the butterfly in vellum and placed adhesive down the body behind the pearls.
I die cut the same butterfly but in two different papers. I love how this looks. I love how the butterfly wings are flying. The basic white panel is embossed with the painted embossing folder. The sentiment is from Art Gallery stamp set and I used the Banner Pick a punch on one end.
I hope you like today's project. If you have any questions, let me know. I am happy to help.
