Stampin' Up! Hydrangea Hill DSP

Hello crafty friends and welcome to my blog.

I have been crafting again ... can you tell I am excited about my new workspace! LOL.

I have done something different today and created a card gift pack using products from the Hydrangea Hill Suite

I created 4 cards and stamped 4 envelopes for this card gift box. I made a belly band using the Mercury Glass Acetate and wrapped some sheer ribbon round that too.

Have you seen the A6 Acetate Card Box? They are in the Annual Catalogue on page 152 in the Packaging Basics. Did you know that we had packaging options in the catalogue? Make sure you check them out.

What a great gift this would make. You can make cards for friends (birthday, get well, friend) and gift them in this box. I'm sure they would love to receive handmade cards from you that they can then send on to their friends and family.

Here is one of the cards from the pack. Every card is the same using one of the sheets of DSP from the Hydrangea Hill Suite. I have used different colour pearls to match the cardstock behind the DSP. There is no Old Olive pearls, so I used the Basic Pearls and coloured them with Old Olive Stampin' Blends. Easy as that, you can have any colour pearl. As you can see, I have stamped the envelopes too using the Hydrangea Haven stamp set.

The sentiment is from one of my favourite sentiment stamp sets - So Sentimental. I think it fits perfectly on this project.

This is the Rococo Rose cardstock behind the DSP and the matching pastel pearls. The colours for this Suite are beautiful - Rococo Rose, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Misty Moonlight, Seaside Spray and Old Olive.

As you can see, there is no dimension on these cards - which is unusual for me! LOL. You could raise the top two layers if you want some dimension. I like to use the foam sheets for that.

I hope you liked today's project. If you have any questions, let me know.
