Stampin' Up! Hand-Penned Petals

Hello crafty friends and welcome to my blog.

If you follow any of my social media platforms, you will already know we have had an eventful week with my eldest son breaking his ankle (on Mother's Day) but only thinking it was sprained. After trip to the Emergency Department the following day, we discovered it was broken. With x-rays and a CT scan, it was decided that they needed to insert two screws as the break was very close to the growth plate. No one can believe that he didn't require pain medication during his stay but he is recovering nicely now at home and getting used to using crutches. It has taken me a few days to recover after only 4 hours sleep (I stayed in the hospital overnight with him). Out of my 5 kids, he was the last one anyone thought would break a bone! LOL

When the pre-order came out for demonstrators, I knew this set was the first thing on my list. It does come as a bundle (stamp & dies) Hand-Penned Petals Bundle. That font is just so beautiful.

The DSP is from the 6"x6" In Colour Pack in Fresh Freesia so I matched the ink pad with the smaller flowers but used Gorgeous Grape for the large flower and Soft Succulent for the leaves. I did 2nd generation stamping on the leaves and small flowers so the large flower would stand out more.

I hope you like today's project. If you have any questions, let me know.
