Stampin' Up! Biggest Wish

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to my blog.

I have to say that this is not my 'usual' type of card and I am a little unsure about it.

I started this card with the DSP piece that was left over from a previous project. Then, I thought to add some colour with Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana so I cut strips into a V shape so they were smaller at one end and larger at the other. I placed the strips onto the basic black card base and once I was happy, I grabbed a post-it-note (I got mine from Office Works and the whole sheet is sticky) and placed it over the top, pressed it down and the all the strips came away intact as I wanted them. I eyeballed where I wanted to trim the strips down so that they met the dsp. I added the basic white piece to make that edge look neater. With everything glued in place, I added the Daffodil Delight die cut layer. I did the same thing with the sentiment from Biggest Wish - lined the letters up, used the remaining post-it-note then adhered them. As you can see, I went to town with my wink of stella 😁 but you can never have enough sparkle - am I right?

The sentiment is raised using dimensionals and the white twine from the essential pack is adhered with a mini glue dot.

I hope you like today's project. If you have any questions, let me know.
