Hello my crafty friends and welcome to my blog.
Two cards made from one die, cut from basic white cardstock! Two different looks and I keep changing my mind as to which one I like best.
The card on the left is using the template I made from die cutting that gorgeous flower bundle from the Artistically Inked Bundle, and adhering it directly to the card base after I had used it on the card on the right. The card on the right is the result of using the blending brushes over the die cut template. I then die cut a second one in basic white and placed it over the same spot as the original.
Here is my template after I had used my blending brushes and inks. Tip: with the foliage, I ended up using my dark Stampin Blends® in Old Olive to colour the bottom left and top left. I felt those were too delicate for the blending brush and too small as I wanted to keep the ink inside the die cut image.
This is my original card that I had in my head. Minus the template - I had put that aside and thought to use it again with other ink colours. I did die cut another flower in basic white and adhered it over the top, in the exact spot where the template was so it now looks clean and fresh. I do love this look and the subtle look of the ink.
The sentiment I stamped in Versamark ink onto Basic Black cardstock and heat set it with
White Emboss Powder. And my go-to look is the use the Banners Pick A Punch for the banner look on one end. With a mini glue dot, I adhered the white bakers twine I tied into a double knot.

Now here, I have used the template I was going to keep, but after seeing how pretty it looked, I decided to use instead (obviously). I went over the green foliage bits so that they stood out more with Old Oliver ink and a sponge dauber. I also coloured three basic rhinestones with my Old Olive Stampin' Blends®.
The sentiment I kept the same at the original card above.
I hope you like today's project. If you have any questions, let me know.
