Hello my crafty friends and welcome to my blog.
I have finally managed to craft today ... well, I have been crafting but for upcoming tutorials and blog hops, nothing to post to show you straight away!
It has been far too long since I joined in one of the many challenge blogs around, but this one caught my eye when it came in my inbox. For me, the sketch was simple and that is what I needed today. You can head on over to the Fusion Card Challenge and give the challenge a go too.
I turned my card portrait because that is how I like my cards. As soon as I saw this sketch, my first thought was the Color & Contour Bundle. I used the 2nd largest scallop die to cut out the rectangle with some new FREE DSP coming next month in the Sale-a-bration brochure. Ooooh! It is the Beautifully Penned 12" x 12" which coordinates with the Hand-Penned Petals Bundle. Last month I did a blog hop and tutorial using the Hand-Penned Suite so you know I LOVE that suite.
All of the layers of this card are adhered to the card base - all except for the flower which I raised using dimensionals.
If you are wanting a quick card to make, this is it. You could have a production line going and make quite a few to store for future use or give them as gifts to others.
I hope you like today's project. If you have any questions, let me know.
