Stampin' Up! Delicate Dahlias

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to my blog.

I am running very late today with posting. I should have finished this post by last night but a headache came on and I just couldn't concentrate. This morning, I got a little sleep in then straight into my workout, home schooling and shower. Headache is gone and I am ready for the day. So let's get onto today's project.

Here I am using the Sale-A-Bration freebie (on orders $90+), Delicate Dahlias stamp set and the sparkly Be Dazzling 6" x 6" Specialty paper. I stamped onto Fluid 100 water colour paper with Versamark ink and heat set it with white emboss powder. I then got my Mint Macaron ink pad and using my water painter brush, I coloured in the Dahlia. I used my heat tool to dry it off a bit and went back over the image to give it darker shades for shadow.

I raised the beautiful Dahlia with dimensionals and directly adhered the sentiment to it using liquid glue. The Be Dazzling piece is adhered directly to the Basic White layer and I used the Banners Pick A Punch on the end. You can make this any length you like. I do love my banners (as you can also see on the sentiment). I stamped the sentiment in Mint Macaron ink and added a small strip of Mint Macaron card stock underneath it so it stuck out further on the banner end.

Once you have coloured in the image, this is a quick and easy card to put together. Stamp the image a dozen times, then while you are sitting in front of the tv after dinner, you can colour in using different colour ink pads. Save them for future projects or make a card pack to give away as a gift for someone.
