I haven't played with the Hydrangea set for a while and I wanted a flower to be front and center. If you are wondering where the black stripe is from ... let me tell you. I made it using the brush tip of my Basic Black Stampin' Blends®. I got some post-it-notes to mark the edge of where the stripe would be. I then ran the brush tip freehand at an angle over the cardstock. It's not straight, nor is it perfect, but I wasn't after that.
As you can see, I have raised the first layer and I did that using foam adhesive sheets which I cut into strips. I used dimensionals on the flower and liquid glue for the leaves.
I used Melon Mambo Stampin' Blends® on the flower and that sparkle is my favourite tool of all - wink of stella! I was going to use Granny Apple Green Blends on the leaves but I decided to use an inkpad instead. Both the flower and leaves have 2 parts to them - the outline (in black) and the solid stamp (green colour) so you can choose how you wish to colour the images.
