Stampin' Up! Potted Succulents Dies

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to my blog.

I hope you had a good weekend. We had a quiet one but are preparing for a birthday for my youngest, who turns 6 on Thursday. She has asked me to make her a vanilla cake. She is very excited and counting down the days.

How stunning is this die! See below for the die set and you will see this gorgeous one. The DSP behind it is from the hostess pack, Pattern Party (page 171, Annual Catalogue). I decided to add a simple, small sentiment so it doesn't distract you from the die. Black, white and red is a favourite colour combo of mine and I don't do it often enough so for a splash of colour I added the sheer real red ribbon.

To adhere the DSP, I ran a thin line of liquid glue around the edge and carefully placed it on the back side of the front of the card. I also added a few dots to the back of the die cut so the DSP would adhere to it.

Card Measurements: Imperial
Base card - Basic White = 4 1/4" x 11" (score @ 5 1/2")
Layer 1 - DSP = 4 1/8" x 5 1/2"
Basic White scrap: sentiment

Card Measurements: Metric
Base card - Basic White = 10.5cm x 29cm (score @ 14.5cm)
Layer 1 - DSP = 10.4cm x 14cm
Basic White scrap: sentiment

I hope you like today's project. If you have any questions, let me know.
