Stampin' Up! Windmill Fields Dies

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to my blog.

Not too long after I moved to the UK, back in 2000, I went on a European trip with my cousin. We visited France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria and Netherlands. This was my first big taste of Europe and we loved it. So when I saw this die, it reminded me of my trip.

I know that white on white is not easy to see, but it looks like I was able to capture the windmill, enough that you can see it. I didn't want to do a neutral colour as I wanted it to be bold, fun and non-traditional. So, here we are. A pink and white windmill. I also used the Splatter 3D embossing Folder in the background with 2021-2023 In Colour Jewels in Polished Pink.

Here you can see I have raised the Magenta Madness layers using my favourite foam adhesive sheets. Now, you can certainly use dimensionals, but I prefer the foam adhesive sheets as I can cut them into thin or thick strips. I did use dimensionals to raise the windmill. When die cutting the windmill, your your brush tip with the foam and those pesky little bit, will remove easily, but check the back of the cardstock to make sure the die has cut all the way through. If it hasn't, run it through again. You shouldn't need to do this but it is best to check before removing the die from the cardstock.
