Stampin' Up! Rainbow of Happiness

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to my blog.

I hope you had a good weekend. My youngest two boys trained yesterday for their upcoming rugby season. Last year, their season was cut short due to Covid, so while training hasn't officially started, the Under 8 & 9 coaches got together to get the boys back into it.

I sat at my desk the other day and grabbed the cloud sheet of DSP from the FREE Sale-A-Bration DSP pack, and cut out all the clouds with my paper snips. It was quite relaxing. Once I cut everything out, I started on this card. I used the rainbow die for the bottom of the DSP and the tag rainbow for the sentiment. I raised one of the clouds as a focal point while the rest are adhered directly to the DSP. I grabbed my basic rhinestones and coloured them with Light Bermuda Bay blends. I did try using Pool Party but it didn't show very well so I went darker with Bermuda Bay and it works well. The silver trim is from the Simply Elegant Trim pack and is adhered using a mini glue dot. The sentiment is stamped in Momento Tuxedo Black ink.
