Hello my crafty friends and welcome to my blog.

We are nearing the end of Sale-A-Bration here in Australia. Stampin' Up! very kindly extended it for us down under, as we were missing a number of products due to the global shipping crisis. So, Sale-A-Bration will end on the 16th March ... less than 10 days away. Today's card is mostly from the Sale-A-Bration brochure.

I started today's card with the 'bug' or 'beetle', depending on what you like to call it. The yellows in the DSP are Mango Melody and So Saffron, but I used Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends® instead as I wanted a brighter yellow. I then die cut the largest tag out and using Daffodil Delight Blends®, I coloured the Pale Papaya Open Weave ribbon. It it such a neutral colour, that you can colour it anything you like.

As you can see here, I raised the tag and the car using dimensionals. I added the small strip of Daffodil Delight cardstock at the bottom to tie it all in. Don't forget the Iridescent Rhinestones.

Unfortunately, you cannot see the Wink of Stella I used on the bumpers and hub caps, but trust me, they are there. You know I cannot go without using it. 😁

Card Measurements: Imperial
Base card - Basic White = 4 1/4" x 11" (score @ 5 1/2")
Layer 1 - DSP = 3 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Layer 2 - Daffodil Delight = 1/8" x 4 1/4"

Layer 3 - Basic White Tag: 4 1/4" x 2 1/2"

Card Measurements: Metric
Base card - Basic White = 10.5cm x 29.7cm (score @ 14.9cm)
Layer 1 - DSP = 10.5cm x 9cm
Layer 2 - Daffodil Delight = 0.5cm x 10.5cm

Layer 3 - Basic White Tag: 11cm x 6cm
