Creativity Abounds December 2022 Blog Hop

Hello, my crafty friends and welcome to my blog.

It's that time again where the Creativity Abounds Design Team, a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world come together to share our creative ideas with you. We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can Inspire you to make creations of your own.

You may be starting here or have come from someone else's blog - either way there is a list at the end of this post to help you move around all the different blogs and get many amazing ideas. Meet the Design Team from all over the world:

This is a monthly tutorial and this month our theme is Birthday's.

I am using Fancy Flora DSP (available 4th January 2023) for my project today along with Something Fancy (available 4th January 2023) & Peaceful Moments stamp set. The DSP is so pretty, I wanted it to be the main focus, so I stamped the sentiments in Night of Navy ink directly onto the DSP without any fancy dies. I finished it off with some Iridescent Pastel Gems (available 4th January 2023) and ribbon.

I coloured the white baker's twine from the Essentials Pack with the Light Night of Navy Blends. As you can see, I did not colour it perfectly which was what I was after. I also coloured some Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon with Light Calypso Coral Blends. Both of these colours coordinate with the DSP.

As you can see, I have layered the DSP with some Calypso Coral cardstock and raised it using Foam Adhesive Sheets.
