All Star Peaceful Poppies Tutorial Bundle

Hello and welcome to my blog.

I am so lucky to be part of Kylie Bertucci's team and I was lucky enough to be gifted this months All Star Tutorial Bundle (this link will take you to Kylie's blog where you can read about the bundle).

The first tutorial was a Z Fold Card by Allison Okamitsu. If you remember my post from last week, I cased another of her beautiful card's HERE.

I loved Allison's card but I wanted to add a bit of me so I made a second card at the same time. I had so much fun with these two.
My version on the left....Allison's tutorial card on the right
Allison's card is just beautiful. She did use a different sheet of dsp from the Peaceful Poppies dsp pack which I had used in a recent post, so I opted for another sheet instead.

This is how it looks when opened up. Use the white panel to write something or stamp an sentiment. Totally up to you.

This is my card. Same Z fold but I added the white layer behind the dsp. I have a thing about adding a layer behind dsp. I don't know what it is but I just have to do it! LOL I die cut different leaves from the coordinating die set, Poppy Moments and added the black center piece too. The black swirly piece behind the sentiment is a die from the Painted Labels Dies.

With the flower below, I used the 'other' side of the dsp for the bottom layer. It is not a solid red colour and you can probably see that the left side is a little lighter than the right side. I used Real Red cardstock for the top layer along with Basic Black and a bit more sparkle with the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.
