Sending Healing Hugs

Hello and welcome to my blog.

It's been a while since I worked with the beautiful Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper (DSP). I had this card in my head but it did start out a little bit different. I normally like a 1/8" border but today I went with a 1/4" border so the whisper white panel is 1/4" smaller than the mossy meadow base card. The dsp panel is 2" wide and I used the Banner Triple punch to flag it. The basic black layer behind the dsp is 1/8" wider.

You can see how I have layered the panels together. I've used a few of the dies from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I love how things work so well with each other.

I also made a gift box to go with the card.

Can you see what I've done with the sentiment? I carefully inked the word 'sending' first and stamped it, I cleaned it and then I inked the word 'hugs' and stamped it underneath. I really like how it turned out. I also wanted it small enough to fit onto the smallest scallop circle die from the Layering Circles Dies.
