Life Is Better

Hello and welcome to my blog.

It has been a while since I have used purple tones, so today is the day! Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape and Blackberry Bliss.

I added some dimension to one of the flowers. I also raised that flower so it stood out from the other one behind the sentiment. The sentiment is from Peaceful Moments stamp set.

Stamp the image twice and cut around what you feel is each layer. Usually it is obvious and this flower is quite easy. Sometimes, it isn't so easy and hats off to those that know.

The leaves are easy enough to cut up and arrange under the flower.

If you are not adding dimension, you can glue the leaves directly underneath the flower and not to the layer of cardstock.. Sometimes that is easier. You can arrange the leaves exactly where you want them. Raising the flower with dimensionals, you can still add the leaves underneath, although, sometimes those dimensionals get in the way but to get around that, you need to cut more off the leaves. There is always a way.
