Always Thinking Of You

Hello and welcome to my blog.

It is the start of another week and I cannot believe we are at the end of July already. I have had a productive weekend and created 6 cards - today's card is one of them!

I notice that just about all of my stamps are floral. I thought it was about time I ventured outside of the floral world...so I am starting with goats! Way To Goat is what this stamp set is called.

This is page 105 from the 20-22 Annual Catalogue showing you cards using the Way To Goat stamp set. My card today is inspired by them. There are actually 3 different goats with 5 sentiments.

Aren't they just adorable! I really like the top right goat but I haven't used him yet. He is kinda giving some attitude with those eyes.

Can you see what I have done to the whisper white layer? I embossed it using the Dainty Diamonds embossing folder then ran a sponge dauber with Smoky Slate ink on it over the pattern. I used Smoky Slate blends - both light and dark, to colour in Mr Goat.

I used the new foam adhesive sheets under the dsp. The sheets are 11.5cm x 11cm so not very big but, for what we need them for, they are big enough.
