I am in a pink mood today. Blushing Bride to be precise.
I had Dressed To Impress sitting on my desk so I grabbed the perfume bottle and came up with this card. The sketch was in my head from seeing a card on Pinterest - I remember it having a large rectangle that was almost card base size and a much smaller rectangle (using the Stitched Rectangles Dies). The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set where I stamped in Momento Black onto the white layer, then I stamped in Versamark onto Basic Black cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing powder and cut out the 'awesome'.
I love how the roses lay on top of each other. I have one (the darker one in the centre) raised up on a dimensional. I have coloured the images in with Blushing Bride ink pad and the new Water Painters. To get the different shades depends on how much water you have on your brush tip. The less water, the darker the shade. The more water, the lighter the shade. I also ran my Wink of Stella over the roses and the perfume bottle. This time I have added pearls instead of rhinestones.
