I am back with my most favourite stamp - Good Morning Magnolia. Earlier this month, I coloured in this beautiful flower with Stampin' Blends. Today, I wanted to go black and white...with a splash of gold.
You can't quite see in this photo but there is dimension to the flower. Keep scrolling down to see it. The gold trim is from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo pack and I am just about at the end of the roll. Thankfully, I have ordered another pack. To adhere the trim, I placed a piece of Tear & Tape on the bottom of the flower layer that I cut out (layer 2) and then looped the trim 4 times. Make it as random as possible.
Now you can see a bit of the dimension to the flower. I stamped the image 3 times in Momento ink. Once on the layer that I adhered to the base card, the second I cut around the flower only excluding the leaves and the third, I cut around the 4 petals of the flower that are attached to the centre piece. I added the gilded gems because you always have to add some bling to your projects.
Now you can see the layering better. I love how this turned out.
