A Little Christmas Wish

Hello and welcome to my blog.

I just love this gnome from the Aug-Dec Mini Catalogue. While I still love my flowers, I am trying to use other non-flower stamps too. The Goats, Hippos and now the gnomes!

Now, I know trees are not blue, but us crafter's are allowed to colour in whatever colour we like - right? LOL. I decided to use the largest square in the stitched shapes dies to cut out the tree house and layered it onto some balmy blue cardstock. I then used a fine tip black pen that I have in my stash (you can get one at your office supply store) and went around the card base.

How cute is this guy! He is so cheerful and happy. I coloured the images in using the Stampin' Blends® - Balmy Blue, Smoky Slate, Mango Melody and Old Olive.

I raised Mr Gnome and the sentiment and added some of the clear gems from the Elegant Faceted Gems.
