The very talented Sam Hammond Donald (Pootles) shared a fancy fold card on her blog recently and I wanted to give it a go! Sam used the beautiful Prized Peony stamp set and matching DSP. I wanted to show you that you can use any DSP and stamp set.
This greeting is from Good Morning Magnolia stamp set. I used the Hippo and Friends dies to cut out the sentiment piece and then ran it through the greenery embossing folder.

The card is roughly 10cm (4") high and when layed flat, it is 10cm (4") wide, although the front panel is just under 9cm (3.5") wide. I LOVE the Forever Greenery DSP and I especially LOVE to add the brass foil with it.
I don't do many fancy fold cards but this one was nice and easy. Adding the gold foil makes it thicker so the card won't fold flat, but I am okay with that.
It stands up perfectly though!
I used two different sheets from the Forever Greenery DSP pack as you can see. I love how everything coordinates.
I stamped the greeting in shaded spruce ink from the So Sentimental stamp set.
