Garden Wishes

Hello and welcome to my blog.

Today's card features the new Garden Wishes stamp set from the January-June Mini Catalogue starting on the 5th January. If you would like a copy of the mini, let me know. I can have one in the post to you asap.

I really love this stamp and I wanted it to stand out so I tried stamping it in versamark and heat setting it with white embossing powder...and I love how it turned out.

I was going to go with a white ribbon using the white crinkled seam binding ribbon but I thought a bit of colour would be good, so I used the mossy meadow braided linen trim and secured it with a mini glue dot.

You can see the embossing better in this photo. While I used versamark to stamp the image before using the embossing powder, I could have also used whisper white craft ink instead. Sometimes if you want a really white image, then use the craft ink.
